My very first ever postin'!

Welcome to my first posting.

I'm going to start off with a video that has haunted me for years. It's called "Hello Skinny" by The Residents. This video was shown on CITY-TV's Citylimits in the 80's and freaked the crap out of me. I used to have a 13 inch b/w TV in my room that I would sit and watch until all hours of the night. I haven't been the same since.




This video started it all for me (now my wife can pinpoint where I went wrong). This is "Planet Earth" by Duran Duran. Throughout the 80's, I was a semi-closet Duran fan. I never wanted to admit it, but being 37 now, it's OK to admit it. I wanted Andy Taylor hair and a puffy shirt. Thank god I never got either one.




This next video(s) is from Miss.Armpits herself... Nena. Everyone remembers "99 Luftballons", but this just happens to be my favorite Nena song. It's called "Nur Getraumt" and I believe it's from 1982. The reason I have two videos here is simple. The first was done in 1982 and the second being from 2003. I seriously wish that most American and Canadian singers look this good 20 years after the fact. Nena is like wine... she keeps getting better with age.
