I know, I know... this song isn't from the 80's. Well, it should be! John Peel once said "Wow - that song was so good I am just going to play it again!". That was just after hearing it for the first time. It actually was heralded as John Peel's favorite song of all time. Now, if Feargal Sharkey hadn't gone and released "A Good Heart"...

A little Canadian Content now. I present to you, my buddy Larry Gowan! Otherwise known as Gowan. Otherwise known as the current singer for STYX. Otherwise known as a guy that will use a women's public bathroom when there are no other alternatives (that's another story). One of the best live shows I have eevr seen, Gowan is a VERY talented performer that gives it his all. That, and the fact he has a wicked sense of humor.
"Strange Animal" - Gowan
In my opinion, the best duet of all time. Kate Bush and Peter Gabriel epitomize what duets should be all about. The emotion in this song exceeds anything todays artists can even attempt. This song is a little hard hitting for me right now, and for good reason.
"Don't Give Up" - Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush
Voted #83 on Rolling Stone's top 100 Greatest Artists Of All Time (should have been higher), N.W.A. released "Straight Outta Compton" in 1988. THIS, is what rap should be about.

I could NOT for the life of me find a video for the Theme Song to Square Pegs, the 80s TV show starring Sarah Jessica Parker. What I did find was a clip showing the intro to the show. It is presented here in bad quality, pixelated, lo-def, monaural for your enjoyment.
"Square Pegs Theme Song" - The Waitresses
Why do all the good ones break up? What are there... 2 versions of The English Beat out right now? Why can't Roger and Wakeling just bury the hatchet? I feel like 3 Stooging their heads together.
"Save It For Later" - The English Beat

Several years before "Don't Give Up", Kate Bush and Peter Gabriel sang another duet together called "Another Day", a cover of a song by Roy Harper. It was never released but the video for it is available on YouTube here:

See? This is what I like.
Thanks for the info. I will surely check it out.
